Liability Waivers at The Oasis: Why We Ask You to Sign One

If you've booked an adventure park before, you've probably signed a waiver on your way in. We ask the same of every guest at The Oasis, and it's worth explaining why — it's not paperwork for paperwork's sake.

What a Waiver Actually Does

A liability waiver is a simple acknowledgment that you understand the activity you're about to do carries some inherent physical risk, and that you're taking part with that understanding. At an adventure park, that covers things like riding an ATV over uneven trail, going 400 feet across a zipline, or moving quickly around a laser tag field with the rest of your group. None of that makes the activity unsafe — it just means the risk is real enough that it needs to be acknowledged up front, not hidden behind a cheerful brochure.

It's Standard for Adventure Parks Everywhere

If this is your first time signing one, don't overthink it — every zipline course, ATV trail, and obstacle-based activity you'll find anywhere asks for the same thing. It's an industry norm, not something unique to us, and it typically takes a couple of minutes to read and sign, either as part of booking or when you check in.

What This Means for Your Visit

Expect to review and sign a waiver before taking part in activities like the zipline, ATV rides, or laser tag. As with most adventure parks, if you're bringing children along, a parent or guardian will need to sign on their behalf.
